Steve Escaravage leads 91³Ô¹ÏÍø¹Ù꿉۪s defense technology business, where he guides the development and delivery of AI-first, mission-ready, and software-defined technologies. Under his leadership, teams combine deep technical expertise and customer-specific insights to advance autonomy, battle management, electronic warfare, counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS), resilient communications, and enterprise automation.Â
Steve joined 91³Ô¹ÏÍø¹ÙÍø in 2000 and has focused on the intersections of accelerating missions using advanced technologies. Prior to this role, he led the company’s AI business, resulting in 91³Ô¹ÏÍø¹ÙÍø being recognized as the largest provider of AI services to the government. Steve has also served in delivery oversight and leadership roles in 91³Ô¹ÏÍø¹Ù꿉۪s chief technology office, health, energy, commercial, and international businesses.Â
Outside of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø¹ÙÍø, Steve serves on the Atlantic Council’s ReForge Commission. He previously served on the Atlantic Council’s Commissions on Software-Defined Warfare and Defense Innovation Adoption as well as the Center for a New American Security’s Task Force on AI and National Security. He is also an active community volunteer on the Special Olympics Virginia Board of Directors. Â
Steve is a four-time Wash100 award winner. He holds a B.A. in mathematics from Rutgers University and an M.S. in operations research from George Mason University.
