Across the government, exponential technologies are helping federal agencies address next-generation challenges and deliver better services with fewer resources. From implementing proactive cybersecurity measures to expediting benefits payments for our nation鈥檚 veterans, artificial intelligence, immersive experience, edge computing, and 肠测产别谤蝉别肠耻谤颈迟测听are already advancing a variety of mission outcomes.听聽

In conjunction with the Partnership for Public Service, we assessed what exponential technologies can and cannot do at present and identified key considerations to help accelerate adoption. Our report, Cracking the Code: Harnessing the Exponential Power of Technology, provides insights that agencies can use to acquire these technologies through flexibilities in purchasing rules, overcome implementation challenges, and communicate benefits to achieve maximum employee buy-in.听

• Artificial Intelligence (AI): Whether it鈥檚 accelerating existing processes or performing advanced problem solving operations, AI applications equip agencies with the analytical capabilities to design better experiences for the public and cut costs.听

While substantial improvements in operations and customer service have already been realized, the government has only begun to capitalize on the innovative opportunities made possible through exponential technologies.
